13th August 2011: My first season in a recumbent handcycle is
almost on its end. Generally I am satisfied. Normally I would not, but It's for
me a hard year. At the moment I have an
erysipelas
infection. I hope when I 'm ready with my antibiotics cure I can go full steam
ahead in my preperation for the last races

14th July 2011 : Completely unexpected I became third in the Dutch
championships Time trial. Due to lack of competitors H3 and H4 were put
together.

23rd November 2010 : In my very busy
schedule i still found the time to place a message here. So a few highlights of
the past season. At the Dutch championships I was 3rd in the H4 category. In the
EHC a did race almost the entire season in the yellow tricot. In the last event
I lost it and at the end I got the 2nd place. Looking forward I 'm going to
prepare myself for a new season in a different division. I have schwitched to
the H3.

24th April 2010 : Three weeks ago in Rosenau I got the yellow tricot.

21st January 2010 : After a recovery period of 6 weeks my forearm injury
is almost disappeared. I only have now some lateness in my training scheduling.

28th April 2008 : The first part of the season shows an increasing
performance average you always have success moments en disastrous moments

4th November 2007 : After 7 km in the new York Marathon my chain broke.
Thanks to Achilles. They helped me to get a new chain. For me it was possible to
finish the marathon, but I had delay for more than 1 hour.

19th September 2007 : At november the 4th I will participate in the New
York marathon

19th September 2007 : Due to of lack of time during daylight in
combination with my job I have to train a lot on a hometrainer, because of that
I bought myself a Tacx i-magic with net-Athlon software from the company
i-wheeltrainer. The
virtual reality gives more fun and motivation to do trainings on the hometrainer

24th July 2006 : After a lot of testing I proceed my normal training
schedule I hope my new bike will bring within a few months where I 'm hoping for

22nd February 2006 : I have found a Job at the taxes
services of the Netherlands where I will start in april 2006. It looks like I
can get the freedom to do my races. So it looks like ideal.

3rd January 2006: After a long time of inactivity the site

26th March 2005: I have broken my PR for the marathon in
Rosenau (France). My new time is 1:21:28.67

24th January 2005: The site of the handcycleteam from "GSC
Emmen" has been made. It can be found at url :

only in Dutch

18th januar 2005: After a lot of testing and getting used
to the bike there have been made an appointment to prepare my Varna ATP kneaseat
for the new racing season. The obligatory distance holder will be made. The seat
gets its final position and the knee rests will be improved.
